The Castle Little Haven
Dog Friendly
Your host Chris has 20 years experience running some of the best eateries and pubs in Western Australia. the manager James is a dear friend of ours.
Welcoming pub well placed by green looking over sandy bay (lovely sunsets), popular food including pizzas and good local fish, Marstons-related ales, decent choice of wines by the glass, tea and cafetière coffee, bare-boards bar and carpeted dining area with big oak tables, beams, some stripped stone, castle prints, pool in back area; children welcome, picnic-sets out in front, New Year's Day charity swim, open all day
The food available at The Castle is wide ranging and encompasses most tastes, palates and pockets. The basic menu provides traditional steaks, fish & chips, burgers, grills, pies and at lunch time offers sandwich platters, ploughman's and during the winter, the home made Cawl which is my favourite and also thier sea food platter/board is highly recommended - a traditional Welsh soup/stew. There is also an extensive 'Specials' board available lunch times and evenings, at the same price throughout the bar and dining room areas. This provides for a range of fish and speciality dishes available seasonally e.g. locally caught fish, crab, lobster and Chef's own dishes prepared for the day. Seafood is a particular speciality of ours and we often have as many as a dozen varieties of fish and shellfish available to eat, much of it caught locally in St Brides Bay or out of Milford Haven. The Castle welcomes children and has highchairs available. The Castle can accommodate for groups.
